Xybex's main objective is to build miniature Fischer Tropsch reactors to make Propane and Butane which can be transported to the Moon and Mars to build restaurants. The water vapor which forms from burning the Propane and Butane would be condensed to water. Our secondary objective is to make Space a friendlier place. CO2-Filled Building Blocks
Beat the Heat! Build a stadium sized outpost on the Moon and on Mars with our unique carbon dioxide filled Acrylic/Lucite building blocks! These 3'x3'x2" blocks are easily assembled with Epoxy resins, forming permanent, tightly coupled walls and ceilings. CO2 blocks absorb 79 degrees of heat per square foot when frozen. Each block is filled half-way with compressed CO2 or CO2 dry ice chips prior to sealing. The middle layer consists of a layer of elemental Lead (Pb) bricks, to provide protection from the potentially harmful UV rays of the Sun. The third and final layer consists of a wall of regular bricks. This tri-layer of building materials offers significant protection from the elements. At night the CO2 panels freeze, while during the day, the CO2 acts as a refrigerant, absorbing the hot rays of the Sun. |
Tungsten Coil Heaters
Stay warm and cozy in even the most hostile environment with our unique Tungsten coil Heaters. Each of these heaters delivers a continuous stream of ultra thermal heat, significantly outperforming conventional heaters. Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals, 3,410 degrees C and 6,170 degrees F, respectively. It is also the filament wire used in light bulbs. Rather than using drawn filament, which is too thin, our 12-gauge wire coils provide increased thermal efficiency due to a wider diameter.

FastGro - For an Instant Greenhouse and Forest
Build an instant Greenhouse! Use our FastGro formula to create an instant forest or greenhouse. Just mix both packets with 1/3 cup of water and let it sit in the greenhouse. The CO2 will fizz continuously for half an hour, bathing the greenhouse with non-toxic CO2 gas. Watch the grass spurt up! During the early stages of plant development, CO2 supplementation will spur plant growth. Of course adequate water, light and warmth must also be provided. Repeat 2-3 times daily. FastGro can also be used with humidifiers, but the contents must be disposed of daily.
